About the book:
Between 2011 and 2014, PJ Harvey and Seamus Murphy set out on a series of journeys together to Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Washington, D.C. Harvey collected words, Murphy collected pictures, and together they have created an extraordinary chronicle of our life and times. The Hollow of the Hand marks the first publication of Harvey's powerful poetry, in conversation with Murphy's indelible images. It is a landmark project and was published internationally in autumn 2015.

 About the book:
The suspenseful, emotionally resonant, and utterly compelling story of what brings an enigmatic French woman to a small Canadian town in the 1930s, a woman who has found depths of strength in dark times and comes to discover sanctuary at last. Check bookfairies_nl's Instagram Hello Maastricht This copy has travelled from @bookfairiesworldwide to @damulo24 and is now ready for it's next reader. Is it you? About the book: Nutshell by #IanMcEwan. Trudy has betrayed her husband, John. She's still in the marital home a dilapidated, priceless London townhouse but John's not here. Instead, she's with his brother, the profoundly banal Claude, and the two of them have a plan. But there is a witness to their plot: the inquisitive, nine-month old resident of Trudy's womb.
Told from a perspective unlike any other, #Nutshell is a classic tale of murder and deceit from one of the world's master storytellers. (Source: @goodreads)

Yesterday was the official trimester opening at #ErasmusUniversity and guess what?! The Book Fairies left one of the most famous works by Erasmus of #Rotterdam, "Praise of Folly", on campus And Yes, that is in fact Desiderius Erasmus holding his own book
#bookfairiesnetherlands #ibelieveinbookfairies #penguinclassics
About the book:
Erasmus of Rotterdam (c. 1466-1536) is one of the greatest figures of the Renaissance humanist movement, which abandoned medieval pieties in favour of a rich new vision of the individual's potential. Praise of Folly, written to amuse his friend Sir Thomas More, is Erasmus's best-known work. Its dazzling mixture of fantasy and satire is narrated by a personification of Folly, dressed as a jester, who celebrates youth, pleasure, drunkenness and sexual desire, and goes on to lambast human pretensions, foibles and frailties, to mock theologians and monks and to praise the 'folly' of simple Christian piety. Erasmus's wit, wordplay and wisdom made the book an instant success, but it also attracted what may have been sales-boosting criticism. The Letter to Maarten van Dorp, which is a defence of his ideas and methods, is also included. (Source: @penguinclassics) #booklove #bookclub #lovebooks
