Bats, bats, and more bats!! #Didyouknow that when young bats huddle together in groups biologists call it a cuddle? Did you also know that there are more than 1,000 species of bats, some the size of a human thumb and others with a six-foot wing span?
Bats are unique and valuable animals. They eat insects that damage crops and carry diseases, and many bat species also play important roles in plant pollination and seed dispersal. One of the main reasons we study bats at the USGS is because of the devastating disease they are currently facing called White-nose syndrome (WNS). This disease is caused by a cold-loving fungus that infects skin of the muzzle, ears, and wings of hibernating bats.
First detected in New York State in the winter of ‘06-‘07, WNS has spread to 31 states and 5 Canadian provinces. Scientists at the USGS National Wildlife Health Center discovered, characterized and named the fungus that causes WNS, and pioneered laboratory techniques for studying effects of the fungus on hibernating bats.

So, what we have learned about the Crystalline Canopy Theory is that:
1) The Bible describes the Pre-flood world as being created with a Firmament separating the waters above from the waters below. It tells us that the birds fly in that firmament, meaning that a dome surrounded the Earth and the birds flew inside of it.
2) It is indeed a scientific possibility and not some wild make-believe theory. We see water surrounding other planets throughout the universe. What makes it so wild to think that it could have surrounded ours at one point? Also, ice clouds can be found suspended in the atmosphere at both the North & South poles. Meaning, an ice (crystalline) canopy suspended around the Earth with the help of the Meissner Effect, is an ABSOLUTE possibility.
3) The Ice Canopy would have blocked many rays coming from the sun that are harmful/damaging to humans, plants & animals. Meaning, the aging process, skin damage (x-ray), among other things, would not have existed, all while the rays that did penetrate would have aided in the growth and health of all living beings. Meaning everything would have been larger, stronger, faster, healthier and much smarter as well and there are fossils that show that to be true.
4) The canopy would have condensed the atmosphere making the air thicker while the larger, healthier plants made the oxygen purer, also aiding in making everything larger, stronger, faster, healthier while also making it possible to run for miles without getting tired and heal rapidly. We find evidence of purer oxygen existed in amber (30-35% purer). Also, dinosaurs such as the Pterosaurs and the Apatosaurus could not have survived unless the conditions were as described. Pterosaurs could not have flown and the Apatosaurus could not Ave taken a breathe.
5) Genesis 2:4 mentions a mist that went over the Earth. A continuous mist would have been much better for the plants health than the occasional rain, as well as the water found under the Earth mentioned in an earlier post.

CRYSTALLINE CANOPY THEORY SERIES: FLIGHTLESS ANIMALS? NOT BACK THEN:
Pterosaurs' ranged from pigeon-sized with a wingspan of 18 inches to ultralight-airplane-sized Quetzalcoatlus with a wingspan of 36–39 feet. To get a featherless creature of an almost 40-foot wingspan into stable flight, it would require more pressure of air under its wings. It simply would not be able to fly in today's normal atmospheric conditions, and though evolutionists typically get irate with me making such statements, I'll let this evolutionist professor of physics explain it to them:
"How the Quetzalcoatlus and the rest of the pterosaurs flew would seem to be quite the scientific paradox, and yet the paleontology community continues to insist that there is no scientific paradox regarding how the pterosaurs could have flown. The most damaging evidence refuting the position of the paleontologists is that they have never succeeded in getting a radio controlled model pterosaur to fly. Between 1984 and 1986 the Smithsonian gave $700,000 to the aerodynamics expert Paul MacCready for the purpose of creating a RC model demonstrating the flying ability of the Quetzalcoatlus northropi. MacCready’s team quickly realized that a full sized RC model constructed with a weight and power reasonable for this animal would not be capable of flight. So they opted for a half sized model, weighing only 44 lbs, power launched high into the air with a stabilizing tail, that could then hopefully descend gently back to the earth as it flapped its wings. While not actually flying and not remotely close to accurately representing a Quetzalcoatlus in size and weight, it was the hope of the paleontology community that the flapping pterosaur model would at least give the appearance of flying. However their plans failed on May 17, 1986 when in front of the national media, their model RC pterosaur unceremoniously dove into the ground and broke its neck. According to the newspapers it was a ‘pterrible ptragedy" 1628642992251720350_5403881250
