There is a huge shift from people 'sticking to a gym plan' to now opting to go for variety - primarily seen by the wide choice of classes available across London. This week I tried some new kit out at Virgin Active using my @movegb membership. I have been wanting to hit the assault bike for ages and it didn't disappoint - BRUTAL. I love how MoveGB allows you to have flexibility in your regime and the option to try out new mainstream gyms whilst also hitting up your favourite boutiques! #doyourthing #movegb 1627783659463837719_210206822

We've probably all heard it said at some point that eating smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day is better for you. It speeds up your metabolism and helps you burn more calories, and therefore likely more fat...or so the sayings go

This sounds nice and like it might make some sense, but in all actuality the evidence points to this not being the case. As long as your overall calories and macros are on point, the exact frequency of eating does not really impact how hot your metabolism burns. So if you prefer eating four small meals throughout the day, go for it. But if you prefer Intermittent fasting, for instance, and just want to eat two larger meals, then by all means go for that as well. Just enjoy lots of veggies and fruits and lean meats and healthy fats, a sprinkling of whatever other foods you enjoy, and some good resistance training and you'll be fine fam. Let's not make the process more complicated and less enjoyable than it is
