1️⃣Flexed Arm Hang- Bent arm strength is the goal here. The instability of the rings makes this more effective than doing this on a straight bar. Aim for 10-30 seconds.
2️⃣Turn Outs- A common mistake on the rings is not turning your wrists out at the top of the rep. Turning your wrists out will work your brachialis and depressing the shoulders will stabilize your scapula. Aim for 15-20 reps.
3️⃣Low Dip Hold- This one looks easy but it'll offer you a deep chest burn and simultaneously work your shoulder extension if you keep your elbows pointing back. Aim for 30-45 seconds.
4️⃣Knee Raises- One of the best beginner core exercises on the gymnastic rings. Aim for 15-20 reps. Shoot for 4 sets resting 2 minutes between each set and 20 seconds between each exercise. 1632068981445895086_4008135560

Though far, far from 'mastery', I'm not currently training any of these movements - some I haven't trained for years; and yet they feel easier to perform than when I used to train them multiple times per week. Why? My belief is that a movement practice can (and should) be SELF-SUSTAINING: once you have achieved a desired level in a particular skill/movement, develop methods so that they are maintained in your general movement practice. Ask yourself this question and experiment: how little can I do?

It's easy to get caught up in how much/many you can do (especially in capacity-oriented movement disciplines), but surely the opposite is the more productive? Not only will you develop better skill-maintenance management techniques within your practice and minimize the chance of overtraining injuries, you will have extra time to spend on movement that really needs attention, time to do the things that you are either terrible or a complete beginner at, time in which the golden trinity is guaranteed: failure, learning, and growth
