Check seangerti's Instagram From my clean/jerk/front squat workout last week. I’ve posted snatch and clean videos, but not really jerk or squats, mostly because I’m not as comfortable with those lifts. I naturally have a weak lumbar spine, and that makes squatting and other similar movements more challenging. INTRA CARBS-
1. In most cases, you can benefit from intra-workout carbs if you train for longer than an hour. However, they can also be of advantage during nonstop, high-intensity sessions around the 45-minute mark.

2. Intra-workout carbohydrate consumption helps provide a rapidly available fuel source, which keeps your energy high for subsequent sets. Instead of stopping early or needing to reduce the weight, you'll be able to continue working with intensity and strength.

3. Sipping on carbohydrates throughout a really tough or long workout will help deliver a continuous fuel source to your brain, which may help you avoid mistakes related to mental exhaustion. This may sound silly, but I have recently started taking them again and have noticed a huge difference in this aspect!

4. During a workout, you actually want liquid carbohydrates so that digestion is quick and easy. You can have ya oats beforehand, but I would not recommend trying to chow them down in between sets  
5. Most sessions running any shorter than 45 minutes can be adequately fuelled by a pre-workout meal and don't necessitate intra-workout carbohydrates. However, consuming carbohydrates during a short session is not detrimental- at the end of the day it is personal preference and does depend on your goals and performance requirements.

At the moment I use about 1.5 servings of the @horleys replace electrolyte sports drink in a delish raspberry flavour  This provides the energy and electrolytes I need to prevent fatigue and maintain adequate muscle function throughout training ‍♀️
