Hi, I am Jessica and while I am originally from Germany, I spent the biggest parts of the past 5 years exploring other parts of this beautiful world . As a veterinarian I worked with great apes in Africa, stray dogs in Thailand, and Arctic birds in Canada, before completing my Masters of Public Health in May this year. Over the years I collected multiple awards, certificates, and titles, which I am beyond grateful for, BUT… yes, there is a very big B.U.T. : I was constantly overworked, underpaid (if at all), and had to admit that all my academic achievements and titles do not create happiness or get me any closer to the life I wanted to create for myself and my partner. This is why I decided for a massive change when I was introduced to the opportunity to start my own online wellness&health business - and I couldn’t be happier! This step was definitely not easy at all, but my “WHY” was and is so big that there was no doubt whether or not I should go for it. Not everyone will understand this decision, as it doesn’t fit into any kind of traditional office or academic career and lifestyle, and it is a matter of personal development to deal with those reactions. That’s why my advice would be this: ask yourself “where do I want to be?”, “what is my goal?”, “WHY is it important to me to achieve my goals?” (super important!!), “how can I move into this direction?”, and “who can help me achieving my dreams?”. And then: surround yourself with those who inspire you to become the best version of yourself! Whether that is someone you know, seminars you can visit, podcasts that can accompany you daily (I am an addict!), or biographies of amazing people. Create an inspiring environment for yourself!! If my story for example inspires you: message me! I am always excited to connect with people, hear there stories, share thoughts and share a feeling of empowerment. That is actually also one of the most important leadership qualities to me: “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader” (J.Q. Adams). Let’s grow together!
