I could dwell on what is lacking, or I could choose to focus on the positive aspects of my life... Rewind my life 2 years, And i would have chosen the former. Despite being successful in so many ways, I was NEVER happy, never content, always wanting to do better, constantly doubting myself, dwelling on a sense of incapability, yet always expecting more out of EVERY aspect of my life. #negativity
But then, something inspired me. It lit a fire. It was more than just exercise, more than nutrition.. it was the people behind it all. It’s wasn’t just about something physical or tangible.. it was the ATTITUDE that they achieved which drew me in. The positivity... the smiles... the caring hearts #mindset
I didn’t realize til then that I had been completely overlooking the inner me. SURE...the extra time I was able to unlock by staying home to workout allowed me to focus more on time with my family. YES... changing my diet was beneficial to my physical health.... BUT If I wanted it all, it would take more than some meal prep and sweat... Insert personal development #gamechanger
By no means am I claiming that a few books have allowed me to I perfect this aspect of my life ... I am human... i have setbacks... struggles... BUT I do wake up EVERY DAY with a different attitude ... an attitude that every little step is PROGRESS toward what I envision. Constantly reminding myself to NEVER doubt the power of a positive mind... and ALWAYS striving to see the GOOD in every situation.
Now I am able to help OTHERS. achieve that! To see the good in THEMSELVES... fortify their OWN strengths and to work toward improving their imperfections. To be THEIR cheerleader. #coaching
