A singer and dancer all her life, Eleanor always knew that her life would be “in the spot-light”. As she made her bones in the industry, she taught many like-minded young girls what it took to be a “hoofer” or “belter” on the stage. Not many had the ability to both as she did, but Eleanor made them feel like stars none-the-less. Those young ones hero worshiped her and nobody was happier than them when “Miss E.” finally got her big break on Broadway and took her rightful spot on center stage. She quickly made a name for herself on the Great White Way, and though her former students and a few close friends still referred to her as “Miss E.”, the world at large called her Miss Eleanor. That’s how they read her name when they announced the Tony award winner for “Best actress in a musical or comedy.
Later that night, just as the after-party at Sardi’s was wrapping up, Miss Eleanor was being escorted to her waiting limo when she spotted a stray dog about to be hit by a taxi. Without a second thought, she ran out into the road to save the animal and did so, unfortunately an oncoming car then struck her. It’s been reported that as her seemingly lifeless body flew through the air, the blinding light of ANU radiation illuminated the sky like all of the lightbulbs in every marquee on Broadway combined. Before her body hit the ground, Eleanor emitted a cry that blew out car windshields, store-front windows and overhead streetlights. Suffice it to say, she lived and that little Bichon/Shih-tzu stray mutt was only the first life she would save in the coming days. She is known as Ingénue in her vigilante life, and struggles to balance her two distinct callings. -Created by J.
