The scope of the rating covers the sustainable measures that can be implemented in the manufacturing and assembly units, warehouses and other accompanied utilities in the factory campus.
The modules in this rating broadly cover the following: Site selection, Water Conservation, Energy Efficiency, Materials used, Indoor Air Quality, Occupational Health of workers and Innovation. The rating is suitably designed to cover large scale as well as small and medium enterprises.
Till date, we have more than 225 factory building projects going green under this rating, out of which 90 have already been certified and are operational. Few of the notable factory buildings certified by IGBC are as follows:

The above factories, compared to conventional structures have demonstrated tremendous savings to the extent of:

45,000 KL of Water per million sq ft.
Installation of 10 MW of Renewable Energy
Reduced CO2 emissions by 12,000 Tons per million sq ft.
Diverted 500 Tons of construction waste from landfill annually
