I HATE front squats however jeezzzz do I feel them a lot more than I do normal squats! And that’s bearing in mind I double my front squat weight when I do back squats?!

If it doesn’t challenge you it won’t change you. Mix your routine up, do more of what you struggle with and I promise it’ll be worth it

Guilty! ‍♀️I was afraid to lift weights, especially partake in leg day because I have large legs to begin with and afraid I was going to look bulky. 

Here’s the truth: when you pick up heavy things, your muscles get STRONGER, but not necessarily bigger. If you eat way more calories than you are burning every day and pump yourself full of testosterone like the bodybuilders do, then yea.. you could get bigger.

However, if you eat a caloric deficit (and eat the right kinds of food – actual healthy foods), and pick up heavy things, your muscles will get stronger and denser.
You will burn the fat on top of your muscle, and you will achieve that “toned” look that you are after. 1653940591333949816_213635157

Check possiblerecoveryis's Instagram Two years ago I would have restricted all day to “save calories” for tomorrow and I would have spent all day exercising. Today, I eat until i feel satisfied like I do every day. I listen to my body and I don’t starve myself ever.

We don’t punish ourself for breathing, we shouldn’t for eating either. Eating keeps us alive. And we wouldn’t think any of our loved ones should punish themselves for eating either. I’m going to eat today until I feel satisfied and I’ll eat tomorrow until I’m satisfied then I’ll enjoy some of my favorite dessert. Holidays don’t have to mean binging but they don’t have to mean restriction either. Eating a little too much sometimes is part of life, eating your favorite foods is part of an enjoyable life. Holidays can be hell when struggling with an ed. Keep fighting, face a fear food but most importantly be kind to yourself!  1653944361124384558_4256395364

After veggies are cooked drizzle with a mixture of 1/2 tbsp spicy mustard, a pinch of cinnamon, 1 tbsp pure maple syrup, & 1/4c balsamic vinegar. Toss to coat.
