HOW TO MAXIMISE HYPERTROPHY (Part 2)💪🏽💪🏽 🏋🏻Steadily increasing the amount of weight you lift over time is essential for hypertrophy, as mechanical tension is one of its main drivers (Schoenfeld 2012). You can't expect to constantly progress using the same weights over and over again 😩 . 💪🏽Lifting weights whilst trying to establish a mind-muscle connection has been shown to increase EMG activation in some cases by up to 20% (Marchant et al 2017, Snyder 2012)✅ . 😩Focussing solely on concentric contractions means you're missing out on 50% of the lift each rep. As well as this, eccentric training is better than concentric at building both strength and muscle & is needed for maximal hypertrophy (Roig et al 2009, Hather et al 1991)✅ . 👌 Hope you found these tips helpful! Kristian er en af de nye styrkeløftere i OBBC , som jeg har fået fornøjelsen af at hjælpe 😊 Vi har arbejdet med teknik i de tre store løft og så har jeg smidt ham på et 2 split program med fokus på squat, bænkpres og Dødløft. Først teknik, så struktur og planlægning 🤓 Det har lynhurtigt betydet solid fremgang og han er ikke den eneste, der glæder sig til at se hvad fremtiden byder 😉 @kristian_ahlbeck (@get_repost) ・・・ I november 2017 lå mine PR i squat på 6x110kg eller 2x140kg. Idag 9x135kg!!! og der var flere i tanken (PRE 8-9). 2 måneders tekniktræning og 4 ugers program af @stefanmoosdk, og jeg har flyttet mig mere end hele sidste år!!!! Er så taknemmelig for alt den tid og hjælp jeg får af folkene fra @obbcstyrke, til at blive den bedste version af mig selv! Er super hyped for hvad femtiden har for sig, men ved jeg har de bedste folk omkring mig. Så tak! @boeriksen99 #gains
