Day 2 - Road to 250k Challenge . Part of week one is @bodybuildingcom is asking all participants their ‘why’. . I think I’ve had this questioned asked a hundred times and every time I’ve answered it in different variations. To me this means my why isn’t yet fully clear. . However, the more we ask ourselves this question, the more we confront ourselves the clearer our answer becomes. You’ll find the more you define your why, the more your core traits as the ideal human you want to become, emerge. . One truth I must emphasize is this contest is the same as a wedding or a vacation. It’s a set goal defined by a event or situation that inspires us to move. But reality is, is that those who fight hard enough to see it through are faced with the question, what now? . Your why needs to be strong enough to carry you through these next number of weeks. Your why needs to be stronger than these next few weeks because when you’ve accomplished the deadline, you need to grip to something greater than yourself to keep the same priority, the same level of urgency to make this change, a lifestyle. . My why isn’t so much fitness based as it is a lifestyle focus. I want to know there’s more to life than just existing, just sleepwalking through the greatest opportunity ever, I want to live. . Defining your why is majorly important because despite being able to reward yourself with gym clothes, headphones, shoes, etc. Your why is the reason you wake up so early, why you go to the gym after work, or in the middle of the night not your clothes, headphones, or shoes. . Now RISE AND GRIND. The day is yours to conquer!
