Prayers up and tobacco is down for a safe journey to #standingrockand for my family to be safe while I'm away. It's an honour to be a journalist/storyteller for @aptnnews@aptn_caI pray that Creator and my ancestors stand with me as I try to the best of my ability to write honourable, truthful, informative stories that will help break down barriers and create positive social change. I like the rest of us have grown up watching film 1280607007199664401

I like the rest of us have grown up watching films and television programs with characters who have a study office or den. Must be nice! I read till my legs fall asleep! 🤔🤓++++Read between the lines, become aware of the characters in the periphery of history. They live in the footnotes and bibliography! They are never the subject of the book because they didn't become iconic celebrity symbols that fit neatly into the #imperial#colonial#narrativethat frames and contextualizes everything about #colonizationfor their audience, not those #conquestso effectively marginalized but didn't destroy completely. We are the seeds man! Protect the brains of the young with truth over iconic mythology.#decolonizehistory#indigenousstoryteller#dziłłigaisianndee#uduhha#indigenoushumor#dloh#nativefilm#skateboarder#dad#husband
