Went 6/9 for all attempts today at 72kg class Squat opener- 198lbs 2nd- 220 3rd-236.5 Bench opener-154lbs 2nd- 165 3rd- 181.5(failed) Deadlift- 154lbs(token) Obviously not what I wanted but all this considering I’m at least happy with my squats. Deadlift plan was something I expected but no lie, it hurt my pride. But it is what it is because I want longevity in this. Super grateful for it all and of course thank you for all the messages and especially for my family and friends @vegan.wonder.woman.13 @frogains @amyiwright for making it out to support❤️ Special thank you to @chineseiron10 and @deenobahri12 for being so helpful and guiding me #powerlifting

@lil_lifts is finally a powerlifter WHAT???? 🥇🥇at her first meet???!!! Squat- 276, Bench- 121, Deadlift- 292. This was my first time handling at a meet and it definitely felt more stressful than competing but there is nothing more satisfying than seeing someone put in so much time and dedication into something they’re so passionate about and finally executing on the platform. You almost gave me a heart attack on bench and deadlift but ifs okie. Squat buddy is more than proud!!!

Step OUTSIDE your comfort zone🔑 • You’ll never get any better at anything in life if you remain inside your comfort zone. Being too comfortable in life usually means that you’re not utilizing your full potential. Try something new, get comfortable being uncomfortable. I guarantee you’ll see the growth 🙌 • With that being said, I posted a video of me doing a movement I’m not too comfortable with. Big shoutout to @astinpaez88 for showing me how to do these properly. I’m clearly nowhere near perfect with my form but I’m going to continue to challenge myself in new ways in order to make those both physically and mentally🧠💪🏼 • Even though the form wasn’t great, I was able to get 3 reps with 175 to finish off my workout • How are you going to step outside your comfort zone and challenge yourself today??🤔 • • • • #powerlifting

Dead session from today @afterburnbarbell. After 5-6 sets of squats, legs and low back were already feeling the burn and we jumped right into deads. We were just doing singles/doubles, but it felt heavy ASF. Got 2 singles at 397lbs/180.4kg, but failed 408/185.4. Hopped on bench after for 8x3x225/102.2. —————————— #powerlifting
