Dec 2017 - THE AFRICAN UNION WAS CELEBRATING 4 YOUNG AFRICAN HEROES. We live in a world where the negative minded folks who are trying to convince others that it can't be done are interrupted by those who are actually doing it. #Checkmate AFRICA HAS HOPE, IT HAS YOU, YOU AND YOU. Ethiopia + Malawi + Liberia + Ghana
Be happy and content to follow your path and your dreams. We cannot all be @therealsinach or @frankrichboy or @leonardodicaprio or @common or @bflowmusic or @katepyt or @etthehiphoppreacher Let God work with you significantly, don't try to help him by copying someone else. The Grace and the creativity Working in them cannot be copied, let's celebrate their Grace and know that it is possible.
TIP OF THE DAY: DONT BE EMOTIONALLY CONTROLLED. Sometimes people just want to argue with you so that you could fall down to their level. Hehehe. Please decline. GET THIS RIGHT You don't have to attend to every argument you are invited to. #NoRSVP Learn to decline this nonsense in 2018, concentrate on more significant matters. You don't owe everyone an explanation. When they invite you for an argument party, Tell them "Thanks but no thanks." Lol #Checkmate HAVE A STRESS FREE DAY.

WHO AGREES? FAMILY ISNT ALWAYS BLOOD. We are born and told this is your family: these are your siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles etc. But as we grow older we realise family isn't always by BLOOD. It is the people who want you in their lives, it is the people who accept and celebrate you. The ones who have the best interest for you in their hearts, and will do anything to make you smile and your dreams come true without considering their own. The ones who love you no matter what. AS THE YEAR ENDS, CELEBRATE THOSE KINDS OF FAMILIES TOO. S/o to one of my Zimbabwean families I got to visit this year: The Nyamadzawos
TODAY'S MOTIVATION: DOING THINGS WITH EXCELLENCE Not all are born of royally or given high ranking positions but you can go ahead and address them as His/ Her Excellency just by the way they handle themsevles. First impression its very important, but i dont stop at that. It is said people will address you the way you are dressed. This is one thing I always have in mind. The way I dress goes beyond how i wear clothes, it trickles down to the way I talk will determine how am perceived, the way I walk will determine how am perceived, the way I do whatsoever I do, will tell people about the investment of my personality. The way i put down my thoughts in words, the way I plan and execute anything, the way i package information, should be an exact expression of my personality. I was once told whenever you are conveying information, it should be so good that u don't receive any questions on ambiguity but compliments only. That's what I always strive to accomplish. I might not be a perfectionist but I choose to be awesome. I like this amplified version of this verse, it suggests that we are God's trophy, trophy to me is shiny/beautiful/excellent, is a sign of victory. Being excellent, to me is a way of life, God is showcasing me to the world, so i cant be anything less than excellent. you dont become excellent overnight its a conscious effort that you grow everyday in it. 1 Peter 2:9 (AMP) :But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a[special] people for God’sown possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light._ @sirclod - Sir Claude Saula - The National Coordinator #MaestrosKE
MY 5 MAJOR TIPS FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING... Growing UP, I knew of a boy who was rarely given a chance to speak, even in our class. Not because he was hated, but they thought they were saving him from embarrassing himself with his stammering, since he was laughed at every time he tried to sp-sp-speak. It killed his self esteem, I lacked confidence because that boy was me. I felt like I had to work twice as hard to fulfill the dream of becoming a MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER. MY STORY: FROM LOW SELF ESTEEM OF A STAMMERING BOY TO AN INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SPEAKER Today the same boy speaks with confidence before American & African presidents, before European Prime ministers Royal families, before ministers & ambassadors. HERE ARE THE TIPS. 01. SPEAK WITH AN INTENT to move people to action, I usually start with sharing something to connect with the audience. For instance... A personal story or Facts that are relatable to masses, then narrow down to the area of focus. 2. USE STORY TELLING where possible. People will easily remember stories than power point slides. Develop the stories as attention grabbers. I sometimes use few people in the audience for good examples, trust me, it works. 03. STRUCTURE YOUR SPEECH IN A SIMPLE FORM. E.g. a) Present the introduction of your agenda. b) Present your agenda. c) Present a recap & way forward (of what you have just presented) 04. PREPARE & PRACTICE Rehearse out loud with all equipment you plan on using. Work to control filler words like ummh... so... ladies and gentlemen ... etc; Practice, pause and breathe. Use a clock to check your timings and allow time for the unexpected. 05. GET MORE EXPERIENCE I was more afraid of NOT becoming a public speaker than I was afraid of being laughed at, you have to reach this level. So I had to fight my fears and I took every opportunity I could get to speak (and listen to other speakers). Experience builds confidence, which is the key to effective speaking. ALL THE BEST.
